Delete your Splitsy account

This page explains how to delete your account in Splitsy, the expense-splitting app developed by Arun Prakash.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Splitsy app and sign in.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the profile screen.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

What is deleted

• Your login (email address and password).
• Your name and profile picture.
• Your membership in all groups.

What is kept

Expenses and settlements you shared with other people stay in their groups so their balances remain correct. These records no longer contain your name or email; they show "Deleted user" instead. They are removed when the group's members delete them.
